Special Assessments:
The procedures used by the Town in levying special assessments are those specified in Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429, which provides that all or part of the cost of improvements may be assessed against benefitting properties. The purpose of this policy is to establish a fair and equitable manner of assessing that cost burden born by affected residents.
